Radiant Heat Provides Extra Comfort without Obstructive Radiators

Radiant wall heating enables the thermal comfort provided by radiant heating in old and existing buildings. This enables radiant wall heating to already work with low supply temperatures and still generate thermal comfort comparable to a tiled stove. Since the heat emitted by wall heating has a very high radiation component and also radiates from the other walls and the ceiling, the human body feels just as comfortable with an indoor temperature of 20 °C as at 22 °C, which is the temperature produced by conventional radiators.

The following illustration shows the temperature curves for different types of heating compared with the climate zones in the human body. Radiant wall heating comes very close to ideal heating. This results in a uniform temperature pattern, which ensures a pleasant feeling of warmth throughout the body.

The warmth emitted by wall heating systems feels just as comfortable near the walls as the warmth emitted by tiled stoves.
