Underfloor Heating Drywall Ready-to-install Kit
Easy retrofitting of underfloor heating with pre-milled dry screed panels
For those who prefer a quick and clean installation in drywall construction, our underfloor heating with prefabricated dry screed panels makes it possible to retrofit heating comfort in existing and old buildings with minimal effort. The 18 mm pre-milled dry screed panels are typically installed on a load-bearing gypsum fibre board subfloor. The 10 mm PE-RT heating pipe can then be laid flexibly along the milled recesses.
As with all other FLEXIRO kits, the drywall underfloor heating is connected to the existing heating system via an RTL valve and is individually controlled. Retrofitted heating comfort for your home.

The existing subfloor must always be level, clean, dry and load-bearing.
Once this requirement has been met, FLEXIRO underfloor heating can also be laid on OSB boards. However, according to the specifications of one of the leading manufacturers of construction adhesives, Bostik GmbH, the OSB boards must be connected to the subsurface. Floating boards are not suitable. The OSB boards must be primed before laying the FLEXIRO underfloor heating. In this case, the heating pipes should be covered with screed by at least 5 mm.
This is possible, but floating wooden structures are still out of the question as they are very vulnerable to deformation. Installation is therefore only possible on connected wooden structures which must be decoupled. If you have any questions about laying underfloor heating on wooden floorboards in a specific case, please contact our technical support team.
Due to the installation as low profile underfloor heating directly under the surface, additional thermal insulation underneath the heating pipes can be avoided in many cases. This keeps the installation height low. Exceptions are floors above unheated cellar rooms or directly above the ground. The requirements of the Energy Saving Ordinance must be observed.
